During pregnancy it’s not a good thought to carry a toddler.
Due to your extra weight gain, your center of gravity changes, and this set a
lot of stress on your lower back. So if you went down and pick a toddler, it
will make you feel weak. This may cause extra back pain.
As it is impossible to clarify this to your infant, so you
must use other ways to keep your toddler feel special such as sit down and hug
your toddler, make him/her sit on your lap and so on. Your friends and family
can help you by lifting your toddler.
In other case, if it is necessary to lift your toddler, try
to keep your back straight by bending your knees. This will reduce stress and
back pain issue during pregnancy.
